Using a "Side Pull" rope When we used a set of trees that put me too close to a tree on my side I decided to use a piece of rope to pull the foot end support to the side. Worked like a charm!
Hammock "Separator" Rope The one danger with this hammock is using trees that are to far apart from each other (head end trees) So I rigged up a piece of Amsteel rope that uses a rappel ring for a strong adjustment point. This allows me to use trees much further apart than what is recommended

Hammock with repaired foot pole We lost one of the foot poles on the trip. I am not used to the poles not being held together with shock cord. This is a big flaw that Clark has apparently fixed. I am waiting on a free set of clip cords, (with the shipment of my paid for foot pole).
